Reverend Barber is Co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, President of Repairers of the Breach, and Pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church. He received the Bridging Leadership Award for demonstrating the leadership this moment requires: leadership that builds the trust and collective action. The award was presented by Monica Winsor and Joshua Mailman. In his remarks at the award presentation, he challenged us to live up to the promise of important agreements in US and global history around the welfare of all people in order to overcome poverty, social injustice and racism, and other challenges.
