RGT Intruder Test - The best Budget RC Crawler?

🔥 BEST BUDGET BUY? – RGT INTRUDER 1/10 SCALE! 🔥 Is the RGT Intruder one of the best budget RC crawlers you can buy? In this episode of Far North RC, I’m unboxing the RGT Intruder 1/10 scale RC crawler and taking it straight outside for its first real test! No endless talking. No easy parking lot test. We’re putting it straight into the terrain! 💪 After taking a closer look at what you actually get with the Intruder straight out of the box, it’s time to see what this budget crawler can really do on different sections of my backyard RC test course. 🪨 ROCK CRAWLING First up is the rock section, where traction, suspension travel, ground clearance and low-speed control are immediately put to the test. 🪵 WOOD CRAWLING Next we move onto the uneven wooden obstacles. Here the Intruder has to deal with articulation, changing angles, wheel placement and some seriously awkward terrain. ⛰️ DIRT CRAWLING Then it’s onto the dirt climbs! Loose surfaces and steep inclines are always a great way to expose the strengths – and weaknesses – of any crawler. But the testing doesn’t stop there… We also take the RGT Intruder out for some trail driving and mud, giving it a chance to show how it performs as an all-round trail truck and not just as a dedicated crawler. And then comes the FINAL CHALLENGE… 😈 🔥 THE IMPOSSIBLE HILL! 🔥 If you’ve watched Far North RC before, you probably know this hill. It’s one of the toughest climbs in my test area, and only a few of my RC trucks have managed to make it all the way to the top. It’s steep. It’s loose. Traction disappears quickly. And there is almost no room for mistakes. So there’s only one question left: CAN THE RGT INTRUDER MAKE IT TO THE TOP? For a budget-friendly 1/10 scale RC crawler, the Intruder definitely has something to prove.
