'It's immoral and it has to stop' | Anti-racism educator speaks at DC elementary school
Anne Beers Elementary School in Southeast, DC is a majority black school but in the last several years more white families have enrolled and teachers and parents knew they needed to address this change. On Tuesday, world renowned anti-racism educator and activist Jane Elliott did a diversity workshop with children at the Ward 7 school. That evening, she held a masterclass with about 250 adults in the community including many of their parents and teachers.
