So surprised by TUI ✈️ 7 hours to Cape Verde on the Dreamliner

Come along as I escape the unbelievably dark Swedish winter on a TUI Nordic 787 Dreamliner headed to Sal in Cape Verde (aka Cabo Verde or in Sweden, Kap Verde). This trip report is all about going to get a week of sun, but the fun starts early on this 7 hour flight from Stockholm Arlanda to Espargos in Sal as TUI's offering in their “Dreamliner Plus” cabin is a delightful surprise pretty much the whole way. Sure we’re crammed into the back of a 787 in the center section, where the 3x3x3 configuration is never all that fun, but with a nice bit of extra legroom and free delicious food plus really quite friendly cabin crew, it’s a remarkably pleasant experience and far better than I expected on a charter flight.
