Hiking the Green Lakes in the Wind River Range of Wyoming

On June 7, 2023 my brother ‪@alexbonaciophoto‬ and I hiked the Green Lakes in the Wind River Range. Also known as the hundred mile range, this is one of the most remote mountain ranges in the United States. It is a beautiful, rugged landscape with over 1,600 alpine lakes and sixty-three glaciers. During the hike we did not encounter any one else except back towards the trailhead. The landscape is beautiful and pristine. Squaretop Mountain towers over the Green Lakes in the Distance giving the appearance that it is closer than it truly is. The only wildlife that we encountered was that moose you see in the video, although the Wind River Range is home to numerous other creatures such as elk, pronghorn, deer, grizzly and black bears, mountain lions and wolves.
