Stained Jeans Don't Have to Be Ruined

In today’s video, I try a simple but beautiful sashiko approach to disguise the stain using overlapping stitched circles. I also show you what happened when the stitching didn’t fully hide the stain, how I used (and slightly mis-used!) a stain remover, and how the jeans look now. This is a gentle, real-life mending project—part sashiko, part stain-removal experiment, all slow stitching. In this video: – Drawing decreasing circles for sashiko on denim – Stitching overlapping patterns – Considering boro patches and why I held off – Light stain-removal attempt with LA Awesome – The final result: wearable or not? If you enjoy sashiko, visible mending, or gentle creative projects, I hope this inspires your own repairs. Thank you for being here while I get my sewing space back together after the move! 💙 Chapters: 00:00 Will sashiko cover the stain on my white jeans. 00:40 Planning a concentric circle pattern 04:19 Begin sashiko stitching 12:40 Did it work 13:12 Should I add boro patches? 14:07 Trying LA Awesome stain remover 15:27 The final result sashiko playlist:    • how to do sashiko   #sashikostitching #sewingproject #slowsitching #sashiko My Amazon affiliate links to some of the items used in this video: Sashiko needle : https://amzn.to/3GnrMEm (Amazon #ads) Sashiko thimble : https://amzn.to/3YwMc40 (Amazon #ads )https://amzn.to/4abu2f3 Blue sashiko thread: https://amzn.to/4abu2f3
