Kaleidocycle Summer Bead Along - Part 1

From 2016-2019 it seemed like everyone was making Kaleidocycles. I swore I would never make one because I don't like making the same component over and over. Well when I went to the Contemporary Geometric Beadwork Retreat back in May, Kate pulled some of the Kaleidocycles out and I just groaned. She heard my audible grown and I was telling her about not wanting to make one. In her most polite way, Kate told me that I needed to get over that and just make one already! She said that I may not learn from the component making but I would defiantly learn about the mechanics of the piece. So, I groaned again and told her that I would make one. To hold myself accountable I decided to do a Kaleidocycle Bead-Along this summer which will start on Monday. In this new video I will be showing row by row how to make the first triangles of the Kaleidocycle.
