-The sacrifice of righteousness is a biblical principle -A sacrifice was a ritual transaction between a person and God that physically demonstrated a relationship between them -They included animal sacrifices; the animal blood covered the sin of the one who offered the animal -Specific rules were given on offering the sacrifices, but more important to God was the offering attitude -It is only a sacrifice that can make you to be delivered -Building an altar means creating a dedicated, consecrated place of prayer and worship -it does not require physical sacrifices first -Consistency is the key to a strong prayer life You have to represent your devotion to God by building an alter from pure heart and faith -Our commitment to God must be greater than our commitment to anything else -There are principalities in each family's history, and they can never be broken until we offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, holy and acceptable to Him -The principalities oppose us from God's promises in our life and makes sure that we remain under their control -People wanted Jesus to follow family history and be a carpenter and never break it -Jesus refused to be a carpenter forever and he left Nazareth and went to be baptized -Identify your family principalities that are working against you and resist and fight them
