Painting Resin Dragons with Glow Paint… Good Idea or Disaster?

In this resin art experiment, I’m testing glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint on resin dragons that were already brushed with metallic mirror powder. I wanted to see if adding a layer of glow paint would distort the mirror powder colors, dull the shine, or actually make the dragons glow! I also tried a second technique by painting the dragon mold FIRST with glow paint and THEN brushing on the mirror powder to see if the powder would still stick and create that metallic effect. To finish the pieces, I back-filled the molds using black epoxy pigment paste mixed into clear resin for a bold contrast. After everything cured, it was time for the real test… did the dragons actually glow in the dark? This video is full of resin experimentation, metallic effects, glow testing, and dragon mold pours.
