Seafood, waterfront dining, alligators??? OH MY!!! - Chesapeake House

Known for its lakeside setting, Chesapeake House offers a variety of fresh seafood along with steaks and other dishes. They have been serving vacationers and locals for over 55 years. They offer complimentary baskets with cinnamon rolls and hush puppies, along with fish stew. The portions are very generous, which we can attest to since we had leftovers to take home with us. They are open daily from 430pm-930pm. They also offer daily early bird specials from 430pm-6pm. Also, there are alligators onsite that you're welcome to view from a safe spot. This was the first time we've seen alligators in the wild. We've usually seen them in captivity.
