Elmadağ, Karacahasan Köyü Saya Gezmesi

#SayaTour #KöseTour #BalaKöseli TRADITIONAL SAYA (KÖSE) TOUR Our traditional Saya (Köse) TOUR was held in the village of Karacahasan, Ankara. The Saya Tour, a tradition we brought from Central Asia to Anatolia, is known as a kind of Fertility Ceremony in Turkish and Altai folk culture, especially in livestock-raising societies, and also as a harbinger of the arrival of spring. The tour then took place accompanied by drum-zurna-saya (köse) folk songs. After dinner and tea, the traditional sinsin fire was lit, and the sinsin dance took place. The Ankara Club Association Seymen performed a performance, and the local halay dance was performed.
