The underground village of Deh Arous in the Bahabad region of Yazd province with 5,000-year-old handmade houses has been recently discovered. In one of the houses, the handprints of early humans have been left on the thatched wall, and archaeologists are still investigating the exact history of these underground houses. 13 of these houses have been restored and are used as traditional accommodations by domestic and foreign tourists to experience the rural lifestyle.
