Outdoor Guadalcanal Wargame
In this episode, Steve and Tom debate the US Navy command situation at the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal in November 1942. Would Admiral Norman Scott have been a better commander than Admiral Dan Callaghan? And in this confusing nighttime surface action between the Americans and the Japanese, which side could best claim victory? To settle these matters like gentlemen, four of our players go outdoors for a naval wargame on a 8'x6' tabletop with 1/2400 ships, playing the rules "General Quarters 3." Can the outgunned Americans surprise the Japanese battleships in Ironbottom Sound? Find out this week on Little Wars TV!
