Sevenwordz Production, Rebel Doggs, Rythmics Represent DGTE with special participation from Dumaghetto and Batakanay emcee rappers from the City of Gentle People presents "6200" -- an all-star collaboration made by Daro Boyz together with 40 emcees from Dumaguete City and neighboring towns in Negros Oriental. Dumaghetto is a common name for all legit rappers who started their rap career in Dumaguete City. It started in the year 2010 after the peace pact between the two rival gangs, the Bloods and the Crips occurred. The local Government and the Police tried their best to stop gang violence in the city during that time but they failed until BATAKANAY was formed. BATAKANAY is a local rap battle league inspired from FLIPTOP where the leaders and members of the rival gangs agreed to support the movement, drop their weapons and instead battle using lyricism and music. Since then the rise of a very peaceful hip-hop community started. Until today, more and more talented local independent rappers emerge from the city. However, some are still facing a big problem -- "DISCRIMINATION". "Kanang mga rapper nag-drugs na sila." "Mga maldito na sila." "Saba-saba lamang na sila sa kalibutan." "Ayaw mog adto sa ilang event kay magpusil, mag rumble." These are some of the words heard by emcees from mouths of people who judge us without knowing our history first.
