Luxury Staycation at Sir Bani Yas Island: Unexpected Upgrade, Private Safari, and Hidden UAE Gem!

Join us as we recount our incredible staycation at Sir Bani Yas Island, a hidden gem Alex randomly discovered while browsing the UAE map! 🗺️ 🚗 Our road trip took around 4 hours to Jebel Dhannah port, followed by a relaxing 30-minute ferry ride to the island. 🏝️ Upon arrival, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality by the amazing staff. Originally, we booked a one-bedroom villa at Al Sahel Resort, but due to renovations, we were upgraded to a luxurious villa with a private pool at Desert Islands Resort. 🙌 The upgrade came with great perks—more space, a pool, and access to both the beach and resort pool. While Al Sahel’s villa had a different aesthetic and was further from the beach, our upgrade was the perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal we enjoyed our staycation but winter is definitely the best time to enjoy outdoor activities on the island. From wildlife safaris to hiking and water sports, there’s so much to explore.
