Full Hotel Tour - Hilton Tucson East (Tucson, AZ)

This is another full hotel tour. This time, it's the tour of the Hilton Tucson East in East Tucson, AZ. This hotel is okay. It is located very far outside of the downtown Tucson university. Unless you want to stay out here in the east suburbs, go somewhere else. Otherwise, the hotel is nice. The elevator service can be poor at times, particularly during check-out in the morning. There is no service elevator here. On the weekend of our stay (Easter 2013 Weekend), where was a baseball team staying at the hotel during their spring training and there was also a family reunion going on. Needless to say, during our checkout, we had to wait around 10 minutes just to get an elevator down. Unfortunately, the stairwell doors were locked below 4, forcing us to wait. The guest laundry room is not well maintained because, as seen in the video, there are mosquitos, spiders, and other bugs in the laundry room. The pool area is pretty nice. A video of that area in the night will be coming soon. We booked this hotel on Expedia, however, due to an error at the time of booking, we had to pay $20/night more for executive access at the hotel than we would have to if we booked on Expedia (would have been only $6/night). The executive access was for free breakfast and hors d'oeuvres. We did not get to experience the hors d'oeuvres because we got into the hotel after a long day pretty late. (the hors d'oeuvres ran from 5PM-7PM). The free breakfast was okay. The eggs were a bit runny, but most everything else was okay. For $20 more per night, the executive access wasn't worth it. Be sure to book through Expedia to save!!!
