Renovation of old rusty German Table vice
In this video, I am restoring an old bench vice. I found it in an old abandoned house and I thought it would be nice to restore it and make a movie about it. At first glance, the bench vice was already welded, but not very aesthetically, as you can see.The bench vice had the clamping jaws completely worn out and the screws holding the jaws could not be removed because of rust. To unscrew the bolts, I had to weld the nuts. The clamping jaws were not suitable for reuse and I had to make new ones, for this purpose I used a computer program and a CNC machine. The bench vice has been degreased and sandblasted .The bench vice will be painted with impact-resistant structural paint and some other parts, the ones for decorative purposes will be red RAL 3020. I believe that you liked my work and this video Thank you for watching my video,if you have questions about my machines, paints, computer software, ask in the comments,I will be happy to answer your questions.I am very sorry for my English, but this is not my native language.
