I put Panasonic to the test. Both have similar prices and sizes. Which one do you think is better for you? My one-line review: The S9 is the right choice for video, and the L10 for photos. While the S9 can be seen as an all-around compact full-frame camera featuring a full-frame sensor and interchangeable lenses, the lack of a shutter button and a hot shoe is a significant drawback. Also, if you are a beginner, the ability to swap lenses might actually make you curious about other lenses, and you might worry that your results won't turn out well because of the lens. It also keeps adding money to your budget. That is why I think the L10, which doesn't offer those options, is actually better for beginners.
