The gross negligence of the Municipal Corporation has come to light in Ahmedabad. An epidemic has broken out due to contaminated water in the famous 'Akanksha Society' on Sola Road....The people of the society suffered from diarrhea and vomiting after the dirty water from the drainage line mixed with the drinking water line...According to the claims of the locals, about 700 people in this society with a population of more than 2500 people have been affected by the toxic water, out of which more than 50 people had to be admitted to the hospital immediately as their condition deteriorated.
