I Finally Found the Leak Under My Camaro

1968 Camaro RS/SS 12-bolt rear end repair. I thought this was just a leaking axle seal, but the real problem turned out to be something I never expected. In this episode of Camaro Chronicles, I crawl under my 1968 Camaro to track down a persistent rear-end leak. What starts as a simple inspection quickly turns into a much bigger repair when I discover a crack hidden beneath the leaf spring perch on the 12-bolt rear axle housing. That discovery changes everything. Instead of replacing an axle seal, I realize the entire rear end has to come out so it can be repaired correctly. This video follows my troubleshooting process, the clues that led me to the real problem, and the moment I realize this project just became much bigger than I planned. In the next Camaro Chronicles episode, we'll remove the complete rear end, repair the cracked axle tube, weld the housing, and reinstall everything back into the car.
