SchoolBoy Runaway is an indie first-person puzzle adventure game released in 2024. Developed and published by Linked Squad. Plot The protagonist is a high school student named Andrey, who got a bad grade in school. His parents punish him and ground him, forcing him to study his homework. Unwilling to study, Andrey decides to run away from home. Gameplay The player must move quietly through the house, solve puzzles, search for items that will help them escape, and avoid being seen by their parents. Covering your tracks is crucial: any mistake (leaving a door open, making noise, or not being in your room during a checkup) activates the parents, who catch and punish the player. If you are caught three times, the game ends, your progress is reset, and you have to start your escape from the beginning. The game features various stealth mechanics: using cover, distractions, and noise levels. Actions may be required, such as ringing the doorbell to create a distraction, creating a smoke screen, or using special items (such as anti-grease to clean the gate control panel).
