20 Recuerdos que Solo Entenderás Si Viviste el Monterrey de los 60s
Monterrey in the 1960s was nothing like the fast-paced city we see today. It was a Monterrey of quiet plazas, streets filled with neighbors, and markets redolent of tradition. Here, life was enjoyed at a different pace: children played in the streets, families spent entire afternoons together in Plaza Zaragoza, and progress was just beginning to emerge with big dreams and a lot of hope. In this video, I invite you to explore with me that unique Monterrey: when walking under the trees was a pleasure, roasted corn on the cob and ice cream from a jug were tempting on every corner, and radio and fashion set the trends. We'll remember the neighborhoods with the most soul, the movie theaters that made us dream, the fairs, the flavors, and the stories that remain etched in the memories of an entire generation. Did you experience or have someone tell you what Monterrey was like in that decade? Tell us your strongest memory in the comments and share this trip back in time.
