Join me, as I enjoy a brake van ride on the Northants Ironstone Railway in Hunsbury Hill Country Park, Northampton, push-pulled by British Rail Class 02 diesel hydraulic shunter No.D2867, built by the Yorkshire Engine Company in 1961, as part of a batch of 20. The railway is run by the Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust and is dedicated to preserving the industrial railway heritage of the county.
