This gameplay showcase will give you an idea of how the preset AC MIND GAMMA plays in Armored Core VI PvE, through a mixture of missions and Arena battles. TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 - MIA 07:50 - Arena: 14/C "Chatty" Stick - CIRCUS 09:43 - Defend the Old Spaceport 13:03 - Eliminate V.III 15:51 - Arena: δ-2 51-201 W - IB-C03: HAL 826 17:32 - Obstruct the Mandatory Inspection MIND GAMMA is an Armored Core developed by ALLMIND as an upgrade of the previous MIND BETA model. Designed for high compatibility with "older generations" of augmented humans, the MIND GAMMA represents the latest in ALLMIND's AC evolution. 51-003 K is a simulated version of the MIND GAMMA, used as part of ALLMIND's Integration Program. The preset AC MIND GAMMA shown in the video is unlocked by defeating γ-1 51-003 K in the Analysis Arena, available from your second playthrough onwards. - Despite what appear to be improvements to the MIND GAMMA over the MIND BETA, playing with this mech only leads me to one conclusion; the Karasawa is just terrible. Despite being the iconic weapon of the MIND series, the KRSV just feels so lacklustre: the basic plasma shots are far worse than the basic plasma rifles', the charged laser shot is worse than the basic laser rifles', and its fully-charged ultimate shot... is worse than Coral alternatives, because even average energy defences render it mediocre. To add insult to injury, the gun is ammo hungry, when there's only a paltry 80 shots in the tank. Because of all this you're left relying on the Ludlow of all things, as well as the laser orbits. While those two are solid enough by themselves the choice of SU-R8 pulse shield is maddening, as the MIND BETA used the superior VP-61PS instead (something tells me Iguazu was involved in this decision...). The shield's placement above the Ludlow instead of the KRSV is truly baffling, making an already awkward shield even more awkward to use, as your Ludlow is your primary stagger weapon. But the shield also leads to one of the stranger parts of the MIND GAMMA; despite the plethora of defensive options (pulse shield, Pulse Armor, long Quick-boosts from Reverse-joints, good strafing from SPD boosters) this thing feels like it's made of tissue paper. I can't quite point to the stat that explains why this is (perhaps I need a primer on Reverse-Joints), but it leaves the MIND GAMMA in a lot of trouble, quite often. In conclusion, the MIND GAMMA feels like an AC that took a look at both the MIND BETA and HEAD BRINGER and decided to integrate everything wrong with those two mechs. Until they considerably buff the Karasawa, I cannot recommend the MIND GAMMA. | This is by no means a "guide" to show you how to play the AC; I'm sure there are far better players than me who can do more with these mechs. I just want to show off some cool mechs in the style of @bansheent-d Armored Core For Answer videos. | Recorded on PS5. Played on Patch 1.04. (NOTE: In order to see a preset AC in the Assembly or Paint tabs of the garage: make sure to first enter the Paint tab, saying "Yes" to removing the edit lock. Then back out of the Paint tab, making sure to "Discard" changes and not save. Now, re-enter the Paint tab and you can see the exact colours of the preset AC! (however, decals will not transfer over.))
