In preparation for the reconstruction of the Brighton Line, I take a fun ride up towards The Bronx on the R68 (B) Train. In early AM Rush, it was a great morning and the feeling was calm. It was a smooth way to proceed in the week after an exciting night at Luna Park. I was so happy to make my comeback to Luna after over 15 years. I’ve went to many amusement parks throughout 2024, and returning to Luna brought back my fondness of going to these types of parks with friends and family. As everyone knows now, the (B) Train is running LOCAL on the Brighton Line until the end of the year. Until October, southbound (B) (Q) Trains are skipping Church Av and then from October until at least the end of the year, northbound (B) (Q) Trains will skip Church Av due to accessibility renovations. Hence why I knocked out all my Brighton Line runs during the week I was home from LA from the summer program I did at Exceptional Minds. When I took three of the four Rush Hour (B) Train runs on this week, the reconstruction project was supposed to take place starting July 8, but it got pushed back one more month. This allowed me to knock out the Concourse Local (B) Train run to Brighton on July 19. It is highly unlikely that I return to the Brighton Line until after the reconstruction is done by early 2025. This was a fun ride through the AM Rush and I hope you guys enjoy this one.
