HOW I SEND AKAI MPC LIVE II AUDIO TO CAMERAS, USING INSTA360 ACE PRO 2

In this video I’m breaking down my exact setup for shooting music videos where the vocals are baked right into the camera, no syncing in post, just edit and shoot.. I’m using my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 as the main camera, the Tascam PortaCapture X8 as the audio hub, my Akai MPC as the brains, and the Anateras VX5 handling the vocal processing and acting as a interface. I walk you through every cable, every connection, and exactly how the signal flows so you can hear (and see) why this setup works so well for me. My mic goes into the VX5, VX5 into the MPC, headphone monitoring though MPC, then master outs from the MPC to Portacapture’s line ins. The Portacapture then sends everything straight to the camera through its dedicated camera line out. I then, because one video wasn’t enough, said screw it and packed up to go shoot the Milky Way at Arch Rock with my xf8-16mm lens.
