As fascinated as I was, I was just as frustrated by the questionable choices with regards to audio processing done to the tape. The songs were doused in crazy amounts of compression that I went in and manually undid, lowering chunks of audio 1db or less at a time. There were also some moments of corrupted gaps in the audio that I was able to patch back together. I used a combination of izotope RX 9, Adobe Audition, and Vegas 14 (just for the audio patching stuff) and I think I got a fantastic result.
