The Wrath of the Dalton! | Extreme Dirt Ride to Coldfoot Alaska (Day 9)

#daltonhighway #alaska #arcticcircle Thinking about riding the Dalton Highway on a motorcycle? In this episode, our Alaska motorcycle tour hits the ultimate proving ground as we leave Fairbanks behind and head north onto the legendary James W. Dalton Highway (the Haul Road) bound for Coldfoot, Alaska! This stretch brought some of the most challenging and intense adventure riding of the entire trip. We pushed through hours of heavy pouring rain, which turned the remote gravel road into a slick, slippery, and treacherous mud bath. Navigating the brutal Dalton Highway road conditions required extreme focus—we spent nearly the entire 9-hour journey standing in the saddle, managing deep calcium chloride mud, loose gravel, and steep grades to safely reach the remote outpost of Coldfoot. Along the way, we cross the iconic Yukon River, pass the historic Arctic Circle sign, and give you a realistic, unfiltered look at what it’s actually like to ride an adventure bike through interior Alaska’s toughest wilderness. Whether you are planning an Alaska motorcycle trip, researching Dalton Highway motorcycle preparation, or wondering how dual-sport bikes handle deep mud and rain on the road to Prudhoe Bay (Deadhorse), this video covers the reality of extreme moto-camping and adventure touring in the Arctic. 🔔 Subscribe for more epic adventure motorcycle content as we push further north! 📍 Watch Day 1:    • Chasing the last Frontier - The dream ride...   📍 Watch Day 2:    • Chasing the last frontier - Quesnel, BC to...   📍 Watch Day 3:    • Chasing the last frontier - New Hazelton, ...   📍 Watch Day 4:    • Chasing the last frontier - Dease Lake, BC...   📍 Watch Day 5:    • Chasing the last frontier - Whitehorse, Yu...   📍 Watch Day 6:    • Chasing the last frontier - Dawson City (D...   📍 Watch Day 7:    • Is the Top of the World Highway Safe? - Da...   📍 Watch Day 8:    • The Calm Before the Dirt: Riding from Tok ...
