INTENSE African Market Walk in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana

Awesome market walk in Bolgatanga in the far north of Ghana. This market happens every 3 days. All plans for the area were based around this timing. Bolgatanga also has a basket market, but it closes very early and I only caught the tail end of it. Also in the area is the Crocodile Pond in Paga which is about 40 minutes north of Bolgatanga right on the Burkina Faso border. Then there is Gambaga, the witchcraft village which is a 40 miinute drive (or so) from Walewale. All of this can be done in 2 days/1 night leaving from Tamale, Ghana.
