Women Empowerment - Women's Stories in Nepal

Volunteers Initiative Nepal has worked with women in rural communities of Okhaldhunga, Kathmandu and Nuwakot district since 2006 focusing on income generation, microcredit, health education and life skills. We have created women's agriculture co-operatives, we have built over 300 toilets, and we have created over 100 women groups reaching over 1000 women. We have taught classes and facilitated discussions on topic such as women's rights, domestic violence, mental health and sex trafficking. Please join us as received empower the women of Nepal
