And that's where it all begins. When you embark on a VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience), you think you're doing the right thing. Like every candidate… who most often: Describes what they do, their tasks, and their daily work with sincerity and Commitment. They dedicate time, energy, sometimes entire evenings to it. And yet, despite all this, the results aren't always there. Why? Because there's a fundamental misunderstanding between what the candidate thinks they're showing… and what the jury is actually looking for. The jury isn't looking for a story, at least not in the way you might think. They aren't trying to be convinced by the sheer number of tasks completed. Nor are they looking for a "pretty portfolio," even though the layout obviously matters. They're looking for evidence, logic, a professional demeanor, and above all, the candidate's ability to demonstrate their skills within a specific, demanding, standardized, and restrictive framework, including the possibility of unforeseen circumstances. This gap is invisible to most candidates. And yet, this is precisely where everything hinges. Understanding what the jury sees, and what they don't see, radically changes how you approach a Portfolio 2. It transforms a portfolio. descriptive, in a dynamic, complex, and analyzed portfolio. And it's often this shift in perspective that makes the difference in a VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience). In this episode, I invite you to see things from the other side: from the jury's perspective. I hope you will then understand the crucial shift in perspective you need to adopt, if you wish to succeed in your application.
