The celebration takes a tragic turn when the assassin Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) launches a surprise attack, resulting in Foggy’s death. Overwhelmed by grief and rage, Matt confronts Bullseye and, in a moment of uncharacteristic violence, throws him off a rooftop, leading to Bullseye’s life-threatening injuries.   A year later, Matt has stepped away from his Daredevil persona and is now partnered with former ADA Kristen McDuffie (Nikki M. James) in a new law firm. Karen has relocated to San Francisco, and Matt is attempting to rebuild his life. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), having recovered from his injuries, emerges from hiding with ambitions to run for mayor of New York City, signaling a new era of challenges for Matt and the city.
