Come along on another sunrise adventure as I head into the rugged desert hills of Arizona's Tonto National Forest in search of the Salt River wild horses. In this video, I share what it's really like filming these incredible animals in the wild. Every morning is different, and that's what makes these adventures so rewarding and why keep going back . I never know where the horses will be, what they'll be doing, or what moments I'll have the opportunity to capture. It's an early start, a 25–30 minute hike into the desert in the dark well before sunrise, and no guarantees—but that's all part of the adventure.
