My Acne Journey ft. Aviclear

It’s been one hell of a journey 🙌🏻👏🏼 Cystic acne was introduced to me in my mid to late 20s. I didn’t have acne growing up and I didn’t understand the emotional journey I would have to endure. Not many people talk about acne and how it can be very debilitating emotionally. It has changed my life (for now the better), but leading up to discovering @aviclear at @oakderm , has been one hell of journey. I didn’t want to go out in public, I would cake in makeup, I would plan my life around being seen around my acne. I would find my whole being change when I would see a break out coming and I instantly felt less beautiful, less fun, and my energy and mental health was being tested. ✨yesterday for the first time I looked at my skin after my workout and loved what I saw. As I write this, I can hardly contain myself with the fact that I didn’t see acne. I didn’t see my skin being taken over with redness, inflammation, and scabs. I can hardly contain myself because for the first time in 6 years I am not letting myself be divined by acne. As this chapter ends, I am going to share my story in hopes that someone finds this post and puts an end to their pain about acne. Please share and tag.
