奈良県の紫陽花スポット、「般若寺」に行ってきました。(撮影日 2026年6月8日) 見頃は5月下旬〜6月末のようで、6月中旬から下旬にかけては紫陽花と早咲きのコスモスが同時に楽しめる様になるようで、訪れた日には紫陽花とコスモスを同時に見ることができました。 当日の天候は午前中までは晴れ、午後からはゆっくりと曇り空に変わり夜は雨が降るという予報。ということで現地には拝観時間の午前9時前に到着、午前9時に受付を済ませ撮影をスタートさせました。SNS映えする撮影スポットが境内には何箇所かあり、人が多くなってくるとなかなか思うように撮影ができないこともあり、まず最初に「あじさいガラスボール」を撮影しておきました。 境内に何箇所かあるこの「あじさいガラスボール」は丸いガラスの花器にあじさいの花を浮かべたもので、SNSを中心に注目を集めており、撮影をされる人が多いようです。 週末は多くの人が訪れ混雑するとのことですが、この日は平日の早い時間帯でしたのでそこまで混雑することもなく、ゆっくりと紫陽花を楽しむことができました。 I visited Hannya-ji Temple, a hydrangea spot in Nara Prefecture. (Date of photo: June 8, 2026) The best time to see the hydrangeas seems to be from late May to the end of June. From mid-to-late June, you can enjoy both hydrangeas and early-blooming cosmos flowers at the same time, and on the day I visited, I was able to see both simultaneously. The weather forecast for that day was sunny until the morning, then gradually becoming cloudy in the afternoon, with rain expected at night. Therefore, I arrived at the temple before the opening time of 9:00 AM, completed the registration at 9:00 AM, and started taking photos. There are several photogenic spots on the temple grounds that are perfect for social media, and since it can get crowded and difficult to take photos as desired, I made sure to photograph the "hydrangea glass balls" first. These "hydrangea glass balls," located in several places on the temple grounds, are round glass vases with hydrangea flowers floating in them. They have attracted attention, especially on social media, and many people seem to be taking photos of them. I heard that it gets crowded on weekends, but since I went on a weekday early in the day, it wasn't too crowded, and I was able to enjoy the hydrangeas at my leisure.
