Syma X8W - Walkera Gimbal Modification - Before and after test footage

Syma X8W - upgrades with Gimbal Modification Syma X8W Walkera G-2D Plastic Gimbal Xiomi Yi Action Camera 3 Extra Batteries (2500 mAh) 2-Pin JST Connectors Night Lions Brass Gear Motors Walkera G-2D modified to accept the Yi action camera. I used a dremel tool to remove some of the plastic for the camera to fit nicely on the mount. I also used a dremel with a cutoff wheel to shape the end on the mount plate to go into the Syma X8W camera mount. I drilled two small holes towards the front that match up with the two larger holes on the Walkera top plate. I used a long twist tie to secure the gimbal in place. A small zip tie could be used for a more permanent mount.
