First Lady Inaugurates ICT Community Centre in Vandeikya, Benue State

The aspiration of Benue State, Nigeria’s “Food Basket,” to also emerge as the nation’s digital hub has received a major boost with the inauguration of a new ICT Community Centre in Ihugh, Vandeikya Local Government Area. The centre was inaugurated by Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, as part of efforts to promote digital inclusion and expand access to technology in rural communities. She noted that the Federal Government remains committed to leveraging digital innovation to drive socio-economic transformation, especially in underserved areas across the country. The initiative is expected to empower young people, improve digital literacy, and create new opportunities for education, entrepreneurship, and community development in Benue State.
