Luxury in London | We Stayed at the Incredible St. Pancras Hotel

🚄 Is the St. Pancras Hotel the perfect place to stay before catching the Eurostar? We certainly think it might be... Before Henry and I boarded the Eurostar for Belgium, we decided to start our trip with one night at the beautiful St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London, better known to many simply as The St. Pancras Hotel. In this vlog, we're taking you with us as we explore every corner of this incredible Victorian landmark. We show you our room in Barlow House, take a relaxing swim in the hotel's spa and pool, and then set off to explore one of London's most fascinating historic buildings. One thing I really wanted to include in this vlog was something I wish I'd known before we arrived... how to actually get into the hotel! Whether you're arriving from the main entrance on Euston Road or you're already inside St. Pancras International Station, I'll show you both ways in, making it much easier if you're travelling with luggage or catching the Eurostar. Built in 1873 as the Midland Grand Hotel and designed by the famous Victorian architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, the hotel is packed with incredible history. It closed its doors in the 1930s before being lovingly restored and reopening as the stunning hotel we know today. Of course, I couldn't resist having a proper wander. We explore the breathtaking Grand Staircase, discover some of the hotel's hidden corners and even track down the beautiful Victorian Ladies' Smoking Room, a room that many guests probably don't even realise still exists. Later, I head to The Booking Office 1869 for dinner, set inside the original station booking hall. On the menu was: 🦀 Crab 🥩 Steak Tartare 🍫 Belgian Chocolate Dessert 🍸 And, of course, a couple of cocktails.
