After weeks of long studio days and portrait work, I took the morning to slow down, breathe, and see Florence from the very top. The views were everything I hoped for… warm terracotta rooftops, soft winter light, and that quiet feeling of awe you only get when you’re high above the city. Back in my apartment, I spent the afternoon painting the view from my window, capturing the same colours, atmosphere, and inspiration that have been shaping my work since studying here.
