Vintage Analog Sound Mixer Tape Echo/Delay Repair Story
Vintage LEM Baby Audio Sound Mixer with Tape Echo/ Delay made in 1979 on my Luthier Workbench. This is a quite different repair story. I was always interested in analog recording Stuff and electronics. I found this amazing Vintage Gear in my local Music Store. I buy it for 100 bucks and the Idea is to repair and maintain it and use it in my low budget audio recording Studio which is one of my side projects.... After an inspection I noticed that Channel too was not working, the Master Fader of Channel 6 was broken and the Tape was damaged too. This turn out as a quite tricky and time consuming repair and in this Video you can follow the whole process. So if you are interested in my Luthier Craftsmanship stay tuned and enjoy the Video. I love doing stuff like that - if you are interested in more of my Luthier life Projects, please feel free to check out my other extended Workshop Videos on this channel. Enjoy watching and sharing. Best Regards Nik Welcome to my my Luthier Workshop since 1997. Some people asked about the Background Music: This is composed and recorded by myself with my Handmade Instruments.
