On December 22, 2014, while most of the area was gearing up for the holidays, the Delaware Lackawanna was hard at work making deliveries into the dark hours.. Five years in the waiting.. It was July 2014 when I started my (first) 5-year video documentary.. In the first scenes it's mid-December 10-18 and the news of NS' purchase of the then Sunbury Subdivision is all the talk of the local railfan community.. We see the Delaware Lackawanna switching 7-D Lumber on the Diamond Branch..
