Wild Camping Mournes | Bivy Above Ben Crom

A rare weather window for a 25km walk and wild camp in the Mourne Mountains. Exploring new ground for me following the Annalong River, past the Binnian Tunnel into the mountains. A 4.30pm sunset had me walking in the dark to a favourite campsite high above Ben Crom Reservoir. A cold meal and an uncomfortable 13 hours in the bivy❄️ before the warmth of the sun☀️appeared. Always good to be out walking and wild camping no matter the weather👣😊 The Binnian Tunnel https://www.bbc.co.uk/northernireland... The Mourne Wall https://www.niwater.com/mourne-wall-r...
