Geelong Model Railway Exhibition 2024 Corio Model Railway Club Hello all, Welcome to a Victorian model railway exhibition video. We return to Geelong for the annual exhibition hosted by the Corio Model Railway Club. This year it was held once again at the Geelong West Town Hall. This show hosted 25 exhibitors, of which 11 presented operational layouts, or were supposed to. The exhibition displayed a range of models that covered prototypes of Australian, American, British and German locomotives, and of scales from 1:48 to 1:160. The exhibition was broken into two rooms, being the main hall and the gymnasium, and both were distributed rather evenly on operational layouts, demonstrations and traders. This video is a comprehensive coverage of the exhibition, however we haven’t included 2 of the 11 layouts as one was a U-drive and another was not present. It is usually one of the earlier exhibitions in any given year, held on the final full weekend of January. These small-scale exhibitions are used to promote the world of model railways to the local communities.
