This is the final Halo game from Bungie Studio, which has been developing the series since the first game, and it's the series' masterpiece! With a fantastic story, gameplay, and graphics, it's my favorite Halo game I've played. Since defeat is inevitable, the overall style is serious, but the exciting plot and profound human drama add to the excitement. The tension leading up to the encounter with the Covenant is great. I love the cutscene where they're attacked by Zeratod. It shows George's good nature, and Carter's handing over the gun with his foot is cool! Perhaps the difference in George and Emil's reactions is due to the difference between Spartan-II and Spartan-III. HALO Commentary [Noble Six - S-312] A former Spartan-III Beta Company captain, S-312 was assigned to Noble Team as a replacement for the previous Noble Six, Tom S-293 (who appeared in the live-action trailer). He possesses high combat skills and has a proven track record of destroying a group of rebels (earning him the nickname "Lone Wolf"). He also participated in the UNSC's top-secret "Project Sabre" as a Sabre fighter pilot. His other military history is largely unknown, and his birth and true identity are never revealed in the game. He/She is the player's alter ego, and the player can choose not only the appearance of his armor but also his/her gender. [Planet Reach] A planet of great industrial and military importance, it serves as Earth's final line of defense. Blessed with abundant underground resources, it serves as a shipbuilding base for both civilian and military spaceships, and is one of the few colonies with a population comparable to Earth's. Reach is home to headquarters for ONI, Fleet Command, the Marine Corps, and other forces, and plays a major role as a military base. It also primarily serves as a training base for elite forces, with ODSTs and Spartan-IIs undergoing training. Due to its importance, the Covenant initially considered Reach to be the human homeworld.
