WINNING AT LANDRAKE | BEN MUSTOE'S FIRST BRITISH MX2 OVERALL

“It was never a matter of if, just a matter of when.” —Lee Tolan, ASA United GASGAS Team Manager Ben Mustoe secures his first British Championship MX2 overall victory! A superb showing from our young MC250f pilot in both motos; a real demonstration of speed, consistency and potential. We came into Landrake with a subtle confidence following Ben’s race win there in 2025 – of course, it’s no secret that the circuit is one of his favourites on the calendar, making this overall even more special with family and friends present to witness it. In both races Ben was able to quickly establish himself at the sharp end of the pack. Two solid jumps out of the gate and some hard charges put us in with a fighting chance. In race one, Charlie Heyman was able to maintain a decent gap, securing the race win as Ben crossed the line in second. In race two, Ben found himself chasing down the #441 of Billy Askew, who led the pack up until the red flag. A staggered start and a little over half of the race left to go fed the anticipation as Ben chipped the laps away, drawing in the race leader as Tommy Searle mounted a late charge in third. With just laps to go, Ben was able to make the pass and fight his way to the chequered flag, snatching the race win and claiming his first professional overall victory.
