Along the way, we tell the story of Bernadette Soubirous's life, her simplicity, her faith, and the profound impact her visions had not only on Lourdes but on the entire Catholic world. We also show how devotion spread and transformed Lourdes into one of the greatest centers of pilgrimage and miracles on the planet. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🚨 ABOUT THE APPARITIONS 🚨 On February 11, 1858, Bernadette had her first vision of the "Lady dressed in white." Throughout the apparitions, the Virgin Mary revealed messages of penance, prayer, and faith. On March 25, she declared herself the Immaculate Conception, confirming the dogma proclaimed by Pope Pius IX just four years earlier.
