Stories of teachers who struggle every day to do their jobs. In remote and abandoned neighborhoods. With "difficult" students. Who have to contend with students and parents. Who are attacked and bullied. But who persevere anyway, with passion, despite it all. And who, sometimes, manage to save a few kids. In the first episode, the Federico Fellini Middle School, San Basilio, a high-crime suburb in the northeast of Rome. Some students—aged 11 to 15—have parents in prison for drug-related offenses. Kids who often grow up practically alone, sometimes with behavioral problems. But who have determined teachers, capable of facing each day with the same incredible enthusiasm.
