What if your AWS account could instantly detect a threat and automatically contain it before you even get the alert? In this tutorial, we build a complete, event-driven Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform on AWS from scratch, using only the AWS console. This system automatically detects threats like brute-force attacks and instantly isolates the compromised EC2 instance, reducing response time from hours to seconds. 🚀 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Event-Driven Security: Build a complete, serverless SOAR platform on AWS. Threat Detection: Use Amazon GuardDuty to detect malicious activity and unauthorized behavior. Centralized Findings: Aggregate findings from GuardDuty into AWS Security Hub. Automated Triggers: Create a specific Amazon EventBridge rule to filter for high-severity EC2 findings.
