Why major in Anthropology? As a third year UCLA Anthropology student, I have come up with 6 key reasons that really helped me to declare my major. Declaring a major is absolutely a scary process–especially when you are considering declaring a lesser known major like Anthropology. Over the course of my 3 years at UCLA, I believe I have made the right choice for myself and I hope to help others see if this is the right decision for them. Best of luck to you! Who am I? My name is Alivia Brown and I am currently an undergraduate Anthropology student at UCLA on a mission to find a career that I love. My major does not have a straight forward "path" as many would say and I am not only determined to prove that I can be successful in my major but also demonstrate my ability to find a career that brings me joy.
