Painting Borges - Thursday, Week 77 (09/09/2021)

Yesterday (in my mind at least) my intent was for the color relationships within the painting to be analogous. I should've known better. I still had that objective in my mind during this week and what better way to attempt it than by painting Jorge Luis Borges. I wanted to paint him like somebody who could mutter something unintelligible that could change your life. In today's video I also took an opportunity to speak about one of the greatest visual storytellers ever, Alberto Breccia (obv because of his Borges in Perramus). Without Breccia, there would be no McKean, no Sienkiewicz, no Miller. A genius like no other. Enorme Breccia!!!
